Aug. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Jacob Kirkegaard, a research fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, talks about the German economy in the second quarter and European Central Bank monetary policy. Germany's gross domestic product, adjusted for seasonal effects, rose 0.1 percent from the first quarter, when it jumped a revised 1.3 percent, the Federal Statistics Office in Wiesbaden said today.
