July 28 (Bloomberg) -- George Goncalves, head of interest rate strategy at Nomura Holdings Inc., talks about the impact of the U.S. debt stalemate on the repurchase agreement market and the likelihood of a U.S. default. A repurchase agreement, or repo, is an accord in which a security is sold and the seller agrees to buy it back on a pre-determined date for a specified price. Goncalves speaks with Lisa Murphy on Bloomberg Television's "Fast Forward." (Source: Bloomberg)
