July 8 (Bloomberg) -- Brian Wesbury, chief economist at First Trust Portfolios LP, talks about the June U.S. employment report released today. U.S. employers added 18,000 workers last month, following a 25,000 gain in May that was less than half the rise initially estimated, Labor Department figures showed. The unemployment rate unexpectedly climbed to 9.2 percent, the highest level this year.
