Ex-U.S. Comptroller General Walker on Debt, Deficit Talks
July 7 (Bloomberg) -- David Walker, chief executive officer of Comeback America Initiative and a former U.S. comptroller general, talks about prospects for political compromise on reducing the federal deficit and debt, and raising the debt ceiling. The White House and congressional leaders are signaling fresh openness to a broad debt-reduction deal that could include entitlement cuts and tax increases as President Barack Obama works to jump-start stalled bipartisan talks. Walker speaks on Bloomberg Television's "InBusiness With Margaret Brennan." (Source: Bloomberg)
