June 15 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Mike Firn reports from Tokyo on ways consumers and businesses in Japan will try to keep cool this summer as they brace for higher temperatures and power shortages. The increase in sales of goods to stay cool comes as eastern Japan has been left short of power capacity by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami that knocked out a nuclear plant. "Green curtain" gardening kits sales are surging, and shoppers are buying clothes designed to help them stay cool as they expect a summer with less air conditioning. (Source: Bloomberg)
