May 10 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Colonel George "Thatch" Shepard, deputy commander of the Mississippi Valley Division, talks about efforts to stem flooding from the Mississippi River. The rising water and the fight to control it has already interrupted coal shipments to power plants in Tennessee, flooded more than a 100,000 acres of Missouri cropland, forced thousands from their homes. Shepard speaks with Erik Schatzker on Bloomberg Television's "InsideTrack." (Source: Bloomberg)
