May 6 (Bloomberg) -- Manoj Narang, chief executive officer of Tradeworx, talks about the one-year anniversary of Wall Street's so-called flash crash and the outlook for high-frequency trading. High-frequency traders should face greater scrutiny from U.S. regulators over practices like those that exacerbated a stock-market plunge a year ago, Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Mary Schapiro said today.
