April 28 (Bloomberg) -- Robert Vamosi, analyst for Mocana Corp. and author of the book "When Gadgets Betray Us: The Dark Side of Our Infatuation With New Technoloies," talks about the growing debate over whether companies such as Apple Inc. and Google Inc. are breaching privacy rules with the use of mobile-phone location technologies. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy invited Google and Apple to testify on May 10 at a hearing on privacy and mobile telephones.
