March 8 (Bloomberg) -- William "Bill" Dunkelberg, chief economist at the National Federation of Independent Business, talks about the role of the consumer and small businesses in the U.S. economic recovery. The NFIB optimism index climbed to 94.5, the highest since the recession began in December 2007, the Washington-based group said today in a statement.
