Jan. 24 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Representative Jim Jordan, an Ohio Republican, discusses the Republican Study Committee’s proposed federal spending cuts and the outlook for President Obama's State of the Union address tomorrow night. Jordan is head of the committee, which consists of about 165 of the 242 party members in the House and has a list of more than 100 cuts the group estimated would save $2 trillion over the next decade. House Republican leaders this month backed away from the $100 billion spending cut that was promised for this fiscal year in their “Pledge to America” during last year’s congressional campaigns. Jordan speaks with Peter Cook on Bloomberg Television’s “Bottom Line.” (Source: Bloomberg)
