Jan. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Gene Munster, an analyst at Piper Jaffray Cos., talks about Apple Inc.'s first-quarter profit reported yesterday as Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs takes medical leave. The maker of Mac computers, iPod media players, iPhones and iPad tablet computers said net income rose 78 percent from a year earlier to $6 billion, or $6.43 a share, and sales gained 71 percent to a record $26.7 billion.
