Dec. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Jeffrey Kindler resigned as Pfizer Inc.’s chief executive officer after he refused to name a head of operations as part of a plan agreed to by senior managers when they met in September, said a person familiar with the proceedings. At that meeting executives decided that Ian Read would be named chief operating officer, the person said. That never happened. Read now replaces Kindler as chief executive. Bloomberg's Shannon Pettypiece reports. (Source: Bloomberg)
