Hart Interview Excerpt on Reducing U.S. Deficit

Nov. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Former Senator Gary Hart, a Colorado Democrat, talks about the prospects for U.S. deficit-cutting measures. The co-chairmen of the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform proposed a $3.8 trillion deficit-reduction plan last month. The 18-member commission appointed by President Barack Obama is trying to develop a compromise plan by tomorrow's deadline.
