Sept. 13 (Bloomberg) -- Dirk Hoffmann-Becking, a London-based analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein, talks about banks' ability to meet new capital requirements set by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. At a meeting in Basel, Switzerland, yesterday, regulators reached a compromise that will force lenders to have common equity equal to at least 7 percent of risk-weighted assets, while giving them as long as eight years to comply in full. Hoffmann-Becking speaks with Deirdre Bolton on Bloomberg Television's "InsideTrack." (Source: Bloomberg)
