Aug. 19 (Bloomberg) -- The New York Yankees honored 18-year-old Mohamed Kamara, who survived a bloody civil war in Sierra Leone, yesterday as part of their HOPE Week initiative, a program that seeks to recognize individuals who embody "hope." Kamara's day started at the New York Stock Exchange, where he met Yankee pitcher CC Sabathia, Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson and General Manager Brian Cashman. Bloomberg's Michele Steele reports.
