July 19 (Bloomberg) -- Ian MacDonald, an oceanography professor at Florida State University, talks with Bloomberg's Lori Rothman about seepage detected at BP Plc's capped oil well in the Gulf of Mexico. BP can keep its oil well in the Gulf of Mexico shut for another 24 hours after agreeing to monitor a leak through the seafloor and take other precautions, National Incident Commander Thad Allen says.
