June 3 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Mike Firn and Susan Li report on the decision by Japan's Finance Minister Naoto Kan to run for the post of prime minister following the resignation of Yukio Hatoyama. Hatoyama overturned half a century of one-party politics when he led his Democratic Party of Japan to power nine months ago. Yesterday he showed he’s much like his predecessors by becoming the fourth premier in three years to resign. (Source: Bloomberg)
