March 9 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk talks with Bloomberg's Mark Crumpton and Julie Hyman about the trade dispute between the U.S. and Brazil over cotton subsidies. Brazil said yesterday it plans to raise tariffs on 102 U.S. exports, including wheat, cars, boats and chewing gum, and break patents worth $238 million in a bid to force the U.S. to end subsidies to cotton producers. Kirk also discusses the Obama administration's goal to double U.S. exports in five years. (Source: Bloomberg)
