Feb. 16 (Bloomberg) -- David Crowe, chief economist at the National Association of Homebuilders, talks with Bloomberg’s Lori Rothman about the impact of an extended homebuyer tax credit on U.S. builders. According to the NAHB/Wells Fargo index, confidence among U.S. homebuilders rose in February to a three-month high, a sign that the housing market is stabilizing amid government support. Crowe, speaking from Washington, also discusses competition for new home sales from foreclosed properties and the scarcity of credit for builders. (Source: Bloomberg)
