Greece Plans Crackdown on Tax Evaders to Trim Deficit
Feb. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's David Tweed reports from Athens on efforts to quell tax evasion as part of a strategy to cut Greece's budget deficit. Finance Minister George Papaconstantinou may this week unveil an overhaul of Greece’s tax system that includes expanding the number of earners subject to the top 40 percent levy.
