Jan. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Debra Mao reports on Nancy Kissel's hearing for her appeal against a 2005 conviction for murdering her Merrill Lynch & Co. banker husband. Michigan-born Kissel, 45, has spent five years of a life sentence in Hong Kong's Tai Lam Women's Prison for murdering her husband Robert by giving him a sedative-laced milkshake and clubbing his head in 2003. Kissel's lawyer called for a retrial, arguing that the verdict was unfair due to evidence mistakes and misdirection by the trial judge. Bloomberg's Bernard Lo also speaks. (Source: Bloomberg)
