College students are still gaga for Google (GOOG), based on the annual survey of undergrads conducted by Universum USA. The Mountain View (Calif.) tech company is drawing major interest from the country's pool of young talent and ranked as the No. 1 ideal employer for the fourth consecutive year. Perhaps it is Google's campus-like environment, free shuttle service, legendary free meals, or kickboxing and belly dancing classes.
Other winners include Walt Disney (DIS), which offers such perks as theme park tickets and educational reimbursement, and the FBI, which provides excellent insurance, retirement, and time-off benefits (and who doesn't want a chance to be called "special agent?"). The survey, conducted online, was taken by 56,900 undergraduates nationwide starting in December 2009.
Note: Estimated annual pay is for entry-level hires with a college degree. But pay can vary by location and level of responsibility. Most estimates were provided by the employers. Others were based on median pay for full-time workers with bachelor's degrees and less than one year of experience and were provided by employee compensation data company PayScale.com.
