Brothers Laird and Robin Monahan spent five months walking from San Francisco to Washington to protest the Supreme Court's Citizens United ruling, which allowed corporations and unions to pay for political ads. On Oct. 20, 2010, they led a demonstration against the decision at the memorial, where sympathizers signed a giant banner printed with the U.S. Constitution's Preamble.
