The iPhone is not invincible. By February, 300 million phones running on Google's Android operating system had been sold worldwide, according to Andy Rubin, who heads the company's mobile business. Android made its debut a little more than a year after the iPhone.

So if you're also starting to feel like you're surrounded by Androids, you're not imagining that, either.
