Concrete Encampment

About 30 families took refuge in large concrete blocks that had been part of an elevated-train construction project on Bangkok's periphery. They've lived there since the beginning of October.

The floods have affected more than 13 million of Thailand's 67 million people since rains began at the end of July. Outside the city, tens of thousands of people are living in government evacuation centers.
