Robert Pera earned more in 2002 when he worked at Apple: $65,000. Of course, back then he wasn't worth $1.2 billion. According to a regulatory document, that's the value of his holdings in Ubiquiti Networks, the San Jose, California-based wireless networking company he now runs. Last year, Pera became the youngest owner in the NBA when he led a group that bought the Memphis Grizzlies for $377 million, according to a profile of him in Bloomberg Businessweek.
