What it does: Much like the Jawbone UP wristband, it measures steps and sleep cycles and includes a silent alarm -- but with Bluetooth smartphone connectivity in place of a physical connection. The technology is impressive, but the consumer experience falls short: The daytime band is bulky and has a tendency to get caught on jacket sleeves, while the nighttime one requires too much fumbling.
