Faking an Injury

A soldier's ability to treat a wounded comrade during battle can be the difference between life and death. Medical skills for non-medical personnel are gained from realistic training sessions, in which actors wear makeup and don devices that mimic life-threatening wounds.

U.S. Patent 8,221,129 is for an invention that wants to make these simulated battlefield injuries seem even more realistic.
