One to Watch: Maynard James Keenan

Caduceus Cellars, formerly of Arizona Stronghold

Tool and A Perfect Circle front man Maynard James Keenan recently announced he and Eric Glomski, his longtime partner at Arizona Stronghold winery in Cottonwood, Ariz., are breaking up the band. Since its 2007 founding, Stronghold wines were named best in state by Arizona Republic (yeah, we hear it too), and the 2007 Nachise Cochise County red blend received an 89 from Wine Spectator. Keenan, who also owns Caduceus Cellars in Jerome, Ariz., plans to rename his acres formerly known as Stronghold after Al Buhl, a legendary Arizona winemaker. And the band played on.
