Hotel D'Angleterre

Copenhagen, Denmark

Copenhagen is an easy sell in itself, and with the restoration of the once-stuffy Hotel d’Angleterre (a landmark dating to 1755), it finally has a hotel as elegant and sophisticated as the surrounding streets. Most of the 90 guest rooms are minimal but warm, with pistachio-colored silk curtains and tiny balconies (all the better to let in the light on those endless summer days).
