Ike Takes Two Tries

President Dwight D. Eisenhower threw not one, but two balls on April 18, 1960. Ike threw out a second ball to open the American League baseball season as Vice President Richard Nixon looked on from his right. Bob Allison of the Washington Senators, who caught the president's first throw, is at his left.
