Situated between the beaches of Barnes and Meads bays, this "jaw-dropping, Mediterranean-style modern resort" has large glass windows with "remarkable views in all directions." In contrast to the geometric lines of the architecture, the Kelly Wearstler-designed suites feature organic elements like driftwood lamps and petrified-wood tables, plus sundecks and plenty of space: "You could fit a party of 50 in there." Signature restaurant Cobà serves seafood and home- made pastas. Sunset Lounge, "the prettiest place on the island," has an infinity pool and sunset views, plus a collection of aged rums, Cuban cigars, and champagne. "You never have to ask for anything because staff always seem to know what you want and need before you say a word." The three pools are "particularly heavenly." Children can learn to make kites at the kids' center.
