Burn, Baby, Burn!

Drivers in the U.S. are accustomed to some of the cheapest gas prices in the world. Combine that with relatively high incomes and a love for the open road, and you get more than a gigaton of carbon dioxide emissions a year from cars and light trucks. 

America is the only country in the world where people use more than a gallon of gas per person each day — 1.2 gallons, to be precise.  

If you want to warm the planet, drive like an American — alone and in a big car.
