With President Reagan

President Ronald Reagan and Prime Minister Thatcher at 10 Downing Street in London, on June 5, 1984.

Reagan and Thatcher were both closely involved with Mikhail Gorbachev, the former Soviet leader who evolved from adversary to ally.
