Mark Zuckerberg dropped out of Harvard University in 2004 to focus on developing Facebook. Although Zuckerberg never got his degree, the valuation of the company he built is equal to the cost of putting 512,587 students through a four-year Harvard education.

Harvard had 6,909 undergrads enrolled in 2010, and at that rate, $104 billion could cover the college's next 296 years of attendance. The Ivy League school listed the annual cost per undergrad student in 2010-2011 as $50,723, including tuition, housing and other fees. It did not include possible legal settlements with classmates.
