Narrows Botanical Garden

The Narrows Botanical Garden may not be the biggest, coming in at a little under 5 acres, but the volunteer-run garden in Bay Ridge has an ideal location, with views of the New York harbor (if you look over the Belt Parkway). And, despite its size, it still manages to fit a butterfly garden, a zen garden, two rose gardens, a lily pond, and a turtle sanctuary. Look for community events taking place in the garden, such as outdoor, family-friendly movie nights in the summer.

Visit: There is no admission to visit the Narrows Botanical Garden.
