Doug Blakeway, chief executive officer, is at Nanotech Security's main offices, located on Burnaby Mountain close by Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. As an entrepreneur in residence at SFU, Blakeway was “looking for technology in security applications,” to invest in, he says. As part of Blakeway's mentoring activity, Clint Landrock practiced his spiel for angel investors before him. Blakeway decided then and there to invest in it himself.
