A Bloody Business
In Peru, 15 people have been killed in protests over government decisions to divert water to new mines. Adelaida Tabaco holds a photograph of her husband Paulino Garcia, who was killed last July in a protest in Celendin, Peru, against diverting water to Newmont's new Conga gold mine. "He died in a pool of blood," she says.
