'Dead on Arrival'

New York-based dealer Steven Kasher built his booth around four photographs by Japanese photographer Daido Moriyama, currently the subject of a Tate Modern exhibition. On either side Kasher placed artists Moriyama cites as influences: Andy Warhol sidewalks and Weegee crime scenes. The latter's "Dead on Arrival, New York City, 1945," was the gallery's most expensive work on view, priced at $18,000.
