Rosetta 

The Rosetta spacecraft "woke up" in January after a record 957 days in hibernation. It rendezvoused with the unfortunately named comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko earlier this month and quickly gained rock-star popularity with the triumph of its mission and the images it has returned.  

In the words of project scientist Matt Taylor, it’s “the sexiest space mission there ever has been.”
