It's Complicated            

Since the advent of timekeeping, watchmakers have turned their horological eyes to the task of adding functions over and above the standard hour, minute and second indicators. These extra features are aptly called complications, for the micromechanics involved are indeed complicated. First fashioned by hand, they continue to function without the aid of electronics.
