Richard Rogers

Richard Rogers, student of London's Architectural Association and Yale University, and winner of the 2007 Pritzker Architecture Prize, co-founded a practice with fellow Yale colleague Norman Foster in the 1960s, and then another with Renzo Piano in the '70s. Later, in '77, he set up his own. Now, he is getting a career survey at the Royal Academy of Arts in London to mark his 80th birthday. Opening nearly a week before, on the 18th of July, the retrospective will be open to the public for the first time, and will run through October 13th. Bloomberg Reporter Farah Nayeri spoke with him about his life and work.
