Beware the Dragon

On a recent trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia, Susan Hack successfully sampled some of the country's street food. On the menu: snake fish steamed in palm leaves, bananas the length of an index finger, and—yes, she dared—ants and their larvae.

April is Asia month at here Condé Nast Traveler.  I'm in awe of (and envious, too!) of my colleague Hanya Yanigihara's epic journey to 12 countries. But I'm also thankful that I got a little taste of Cambodia on a recent trip to Siem Reap.
