The comeback by rock star David Bowie this week extends to a retrospective exhibition showing the U.K. star’s influence on music, film and fashion. "David Bowie Is," at London's Victoria & Albert Museum (March 23–Aug. 11), features more than 60 of his stage costumes as well as handwritten lyrics, sketches and storyboards.
The museum has already sold more than 42,000 advance tickets, a record. Bowie has also returned to the top of the charts with his first album in a decade, "The Next Day."
Bowie's new album features an over-printed shot of his previous release "Heroes."
