Game On

Nolan Bushnell, the video-game pioneer who co-founded Atari, sat down with for the first in a series of slideshows called "Inkblot." Loosely modeled on the Rorschach psychological test, we chose images relevant to Bushnell's life and showed him printouts, one by one.

We asked him to respond immediately with one or two words, though we also allowed him to elaborate. The answers provide an unfiltered look into the mind and history of an accomplished technology entrepreneur who brought "Pong" to the masses.
