Abundance of Color
What's a party without a little color? There was plenty of it at recent fundraisers in New York and Washington, for an array of causes. Studio in a School gave guests crayons to support its programs, which bring teaching artists into classrooms. Asphalt Green in New York had a pool party at a Park Avenue apartment to celebrate Olympic bronze medalist Lia Neal, who trains at the Asphalt Green pool. Meanwhile, in the nation's capital, Susan G. Komen for the Cure put guests in pink for breast cancer research and education, and the National Symphony Orchestra put one lovely soprano in Dior green to support future performances.
