Following presidential candidates on the campaign trail, hearing the same stump speeches over and over, can be trying for any reporter or photographer. But Chip Somodevilla found a new way to tell the story. The Getty Images photographer took a break from using his cameras and turned to the iPhone 4S to capture these shots. In his series of black and white diptychs -- two photos paired together for better storytelling -- Somodevilla reveals some of the humor, as well as the work, that goes on before a candidate shows up and after he leaves.
