Art Around the Hamptons

The Hamptons were bustling with art activity last weekend, including the opening of exhibition, "Mike Kelley: 1954-2012," in Water Mill; a new art fair Art Southampton; gallery exhibitions such as "Creature From the Blue Lagoon" at the house of art dealer Jose Martos in Bridgehampton; and an exclusive reception at the house of art collector Chiswell "Chum" Langhorne in Sag Harbor.

The activities attracted billionaire Wilbur Ross, hedge fund manager Adam Sender, and Paul Schimmel, the ousted chief curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.
