G-20 leaders held their seventh summit in Los Cabos, Mexico, on June 18-19. They pledged to "take all necessary policy measures" to defend the European currency union and shield the region's banks, backing Europe's plans to move toward a more integrated banking industry, according to Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
