2012 Rock Preview: Alison Goldfrapp

Rock music may be about to break out of the groove it's been stuck in as acts such as the xx, Santigold, Spiritualized and The Black Keys look set to get 2012 started.

Among female singers returning in 2012, I'm looking forward to hearing U.K. electropop star Alison Goldfrapp, seen here, whose last album, "Seventh Tree," was uncharacteristically ambient.
